Her discovery of a historically significant collection of authentic prints and sketches by Mary Cassatt led Ellen Callamari to advise a NJ family on the deaccession of their discovered collection. The result was the historically unprecedented, single owner sale at Christies: A Mary Cassatt Collection: Prints and Drawings from the Descendants of Robert Hartshorne, October 30, 2007, which fetched approximately $1.3M.

As an advisor to the estate of the Abstract Expressionist, Richard Pousette-Dart, Ellen assisted in the conservation, sale and exhibition of Pousette-Dart’s work. For this much anticipated tome, published by Skira 2005, Ellen was a key contributor, both in its development and creation.
